I am simply a man called of God, for the express purpose of revealing His Way. I have no earthly credentials and desire none. I hold no title, other than that of a child of God and member of Christ’s body. I have no specific religious ties, affiliations or denominational influences. I am simply of Christ and hold no other membership.
I was rescued from my carnal ways by the grace and mercy of God at the age of fourteen and soon after received a great gift from God–the Holy Spirit–at my baptism. My heart of stone was circumcised and made new.
For more than three decades, I forgot about my heart and instead filled the phylacteries of my brain with “scriptural knowledge.” That knowledge puffed me up, and made me forgot it was the Spirit that had given me new life and not books. I am learning now how to feed my heart.
My eyes were recently opened to the fact that there are many sincere and lovely people seeking God in the world, not just a couple hundred “chosen few” in a closed religious group as I once thought. The people of God are scattered across the globe like seeds to the wind, and we all share in the same loaf of bread–Christ. I seek daily the truth and simplicity of Christ in my life and have discovered the grace of God cannot be purchased by my own labors. It is absolutely free.
